What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

  I cancelled my subscription and was greeted with a 404 message here: https://www.worldanvil.com/dashboard/user/account/subscription/cancel   ... and something about "your journey is at an end"   404 means page not found. I was left to wonder if my subscription is actually cancelled.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

  Just say "subscription cancelled" and stop trying to be cute with it. Again, 404 means page not found and it's very confusing about whether it was successful or not.

What are other uses for this feature request?

  Making it clear to users that they've cancelled their subscription. Honestly, I ran around for a while before I double checked my email and was satisfied that it would be cancelled. It's a very frustrating experience and as a result I will NOT be reconsidering signing up to a guild subscription in the future.   Oh, and scrolling down on this I clicked "create" which went to a totally different article page. I had to scroll back up and click "suggest feature" (again, I've already clicked somethign like that) to then - I assume - actully save this request. My friends, you really need to get your UI sorted. It's a really big reason why I've unsubscribed in the firest place.
