Independently Scrolling sections in 'ARTICLES", 'IMAGES', and other sections

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Separetely scrolling column secctions in 'ARTICLES' and possibly other sections (such as 'IMAGES'   Currently when looking through lists of articles and images, the entire page (minus the left-side menu bar) scrolls together (the left-hand category/type/list/filter column, the center article listing, and the right-hand editor colums (NAME, TAGS, ICON, EXCEPT, etc.).   This makes it difficult to work on articles from this interface as you can't easily drag an article to a new category when it is down too far on the list. If you want to add a font-awesome icon for an article far down the list, you have to scroll back up to get to the ICON option. This makes quick editing of numerous articles cumbersaome.   The same holds true when working with images (changing parameters, adding tags, etc.)

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Having eah piece of the display separetly scrollable makes it easy to click on articles/images far down the list and still be able to edit its information without a large amount of scrolling.

What are other uses for this feature request?

This is the basic use for this feature, just ease of working with articles and images, and maybe other pieces.

Follow up

I should probably clarify. I'm not referring to individual articles, I'm referring to working in Athena with article lists, within Apollo managing large numbers of images, etc. I have over 3,300 articles and even with them broken up into categories/folders (Like Dwarves, Elves, Taverns, Bookstores), it can still be very cumbersome to try to update an icon, tag or other information on a large group of them when I have to scroll from top to bottom of a list of articles just to enter something in and move on to the next one.

The Team's Response

Thanks for this suggestion! We're closing it because an upcoming update will change certain things about the Article Management interface that, among other things, will likely address the usecase you described.
