What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

So I typically write my articles, then go back through and add the bbcode formatting. But I've found that using the euclid editor does not trigger the auto-save (and the save changes button does nothing) and I've lost changes about a dozen times becauase I forget to add a keystroke at the end before moving on.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Having the buttons trigger autosave would be helpful in not losing formatting and not having to remember to arbitrarily hit a key at the end.  

What are other uses for this feature request?

No others :) But might also prevent additional bug reports because I thought it was a bug at first or that saving was totally broken.
