Euclid Orderd and Unordered list icon should wrap each LINE in tags not all lines in one tag

User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX) · Editor: euclid · Created by Brian R. Dunn

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

When you select several lines of text and click the orderd or unorderd list icons, the makes all the lines into ONE list item... this is kind of painfully useless... each selected line should get its one li and closing li tag and then all the seleted lines should get wrapped inthe ol or ul tag.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

It will make it so much easier to make ordered and unordered lists. because right its kind of not helpful.

What are other uses for this feature request?

nothing reall but it will be awesome at making ordered an unorderd lists!

The Team's Response

You can always use the "-" character at the beginning of each line to do this very quickly but what is suggested will not be possible with the current implementation

I don't know enough about coding to know if this is a simple fix or a complex fix, but I sure would like to see it!

OP could've done with a bit of proofreading for clarity (I had some issues understanding what was trying to be said), but I am quite on board with this idea.
