Light mode Design fix (apply it to all areas incl. Editor and text input areas and lines)

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

Choosing light mode in the account settings (Interface Theme Heroes; light background and dark writing) has no influence on any of the three available editors since the editors and the focus state of input fields are color locked into a dark mode (dark background and light writing). This is a huge issue for people (like me) that struggle with using dark mode and it's not expected behavior.   I know it somewhat works with Plato, but as soon as you go into editing the source code to use more advanced BBCode you are stuck with dark mode again. To make it a bit more obvious, what I am talking about:   Text-Area when it is in focus

And lat but not least: The Euclid Editor:

How does this feature request address the current situation?

I feel like the color scheme of the editor and the focus state of input areas and lines should stick to the same color scheme as the majority of the site when picking a light layout and change with the rest of the design, meaning if you pick one of the dark designs, the editor will give you dark background and light writing, but if you pick the light design, you get a light background and dark writing in the editor, too.   An alternative would be, to give the option to change the design on the editor & focus state on input areas seperately, but please, please, please give a light mode option for these.   (Also, since I have tried other means first: while there are browser addons to change CSS properties from the browser or user-side, the focus state of the input areas and lines cannot be targeted by those plugins. I tried.)

What are other uses for this feature request?

Nothing other than making the site easier to use for people, that have issues with dark mode.

I use the Light theme because the dark blue one is worse on my eyes, but I quite like the dark background and light text when I'm writing. Writing on WA would be nigh impossible for me otherwise. Though perhaps having the option of customizing the textbox ourselves would be best.
