What functionality is missing?
Rather than a missing functionality, I advocate for the relabelling of the "sexuality" box.
Currently, we have a box to enter a character's sexuality. However, sexual orientation and romantic orientation can differ. (for example, one might be only sexually attracted to men, but romantically attracted to men and women) This is true for human beings, it could be even truer for fictional species.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Renaming the box as "sexuality & romanticality" or "sexual & romantic orientations" would be the best way to address this as it would more conveniently include aroace (aromantic and asexual) characters. When it comes to fictional species, it could encourage the creation of new mixtures of sexual and romantic orientations.
Of course, another possibility would be to create two separate boxes. I encourage whoever votes to state their preference.
What are other uses for this feature request?
It could stimulate a worldbuilder's creativity, who might not have immediately thought about exploring a character's/species' romantic and sexual orientations separately.
Note: I put it under Feature Upgrade, but I admit I'm unsure if it's the right type.
