What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
If I create an item in the To-Do List, I often need to do it under a temporary title. For example, when creating kingdoms, I hadn't named any of them, only marked them out on a map. So I titled them each after the color they were on the map. Ex: Bluegray Kingdom. The problem was, when I actually started working on an article and change the title, it doesn't update the title in the To-Do List. How does this feature request address the current situation? Currently, if I want the name of the item on the To-Do List to match the article title, I have to delete the item, go into the article, and add it to the To-Do List again. Upgrading the List to sync with the linked article's title would eliminate this frustrating process.What are other uses for this feature request?

One of the comments below mentioned that the staff are overhauling the system. While I look forward to it eagerly, it can't hurt to put this small aspect on the developers' radar in case it was overlooked.
The Team's Response
Closed and added as our list for investigation—this task is more complex than it might look from the outside due to how the system works currently. However, there will be overhauled at some point in the future (still not scheduled). When we approach the TODO system again for the upgrade, we'll look into the possibility of implementing some version of this.
