What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
In session reports, you can add a list of NPCs the players interacted with during that session. This can be done as a link using the '' feature, which is great. However, if you want to see the different points in the campaign that players interacted with a particular NPC, there is no easy way to do that. If my players want to remind themselves of the past interactions they've had with an NPC, they have to guess which session report it was and then click through reports until they find it. If I'm working on a plot and want a history of all the times an NPC has interacted with players, all I can do is run an article search for that NPC's name and then every article, including session reports, comes up and then I have to click through session reports until I find it.How does this feature request address the current situation?
This would be incredibly useful as a GM to chart the relationship between NPCs and the players, allowing GMs to further develop those NPCs based on the interactions. Being able to easily see a list of every point that my players have interacted with a specific NPC would make writing engaging plots and building a world that feels like it is impacted by the players much easier. If this list could be embedded in the article for that character, it would also allow players to easily remind themselves and read the history of interactions they have had with that NPC.What are other uses for this feature request?
I imagine that the same functionality could be applied to running reports for other types of mentions within articles. For example, a list of locations referenced in the primary and secondary location boxes of the session reports.The Team's Response
I actually do like this idea. I will be creating a list of articles/reports an NPC has been found with the new release of Hercules (currently being worked on) It will not be exactly what you described but your players will be able to click on the page of the NPC and get a list of the reports they are mentioned in. Keep in mind the whole NPCs/characters system will be changing very

on 2021-08-26 15:30That list would be so long, I have NPCs who are in almost every one of the 80-some session reports one of my campaigns has. The tagged system is a better option for something like this, in my opinion.
