What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently it is impossible to add more than 1 parent item to any item within a content tree even do it is possible to add more that one child item for the same parent item.How does this feature request address the current situation?
This feature would allow for multiple parent items to make some items, articles or other things that originate with more than a single entity to be represented properly has such. Has a concrete example in my world I have flags that are combination of 2 or more older flags and my content tree can not show the evolution of them properly in the current format. Another use for it could be to see coats of arms changes has people get married and have children has well has show organizations that merge into a single one. There might be other use for it too however I do not have any other example that comes to mind at the moment.The Team's Response
That will not be possible. Doing so will break the ability to create tree structures with content trees which area already used for vertical organization and menus.

on 2022-04-15 08:08I do think this idea as merit. Suggestion for Dmitri: I would consider this to be a separate feature that could be applied to Tech Trees and Family Trees for example. I suggest leaving your "single parent" code, as is, and implementing a new code base for this feature.
