What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I love the feel of Chronicles but sometimes I just want to see my timeline in a simplified form, with a page of its own. Chronicles can feel overwhelming for a quick reference if i just want to pull up some information swiftly. On the otherhand, it is also much easier to input events as i go and add it to my simplified timeline compared to adding events in chronicles. So I feel like its inconvenient both ways to have to jot down the same event's details in both the chronicles timeline and the simplified timeline as two separate entries when I should easily just either merge them, copy paste them together.How does this feature request address the current situation?
It would make things so much easier to build a timeline in chronicles and also give us the option to add pre-existing timelines we worked on already to the dynamic view of chronicles.What are other uses for this feature request?

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I'm happy to say that this is already accepted and planned. All time related entities will eventually be brought into alignment. Please read the previously accepted suggestions to see what we have in development.

on 2023-05-15 09:43I hear (not just below) that this had been accepted, but I maybe missed it on the Roadmap? I seem to recall Dimitri saying that Timelines and Chronicles were just too different. Chronicles are cool, but I refuse to copy and paste individual historical events and reorganize everything. It always seemed like a big oversight to me to release Chronicles and not allow timelines or events at least to be imported.
