What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

  Whiteboards do not feel reliable for a number of reasons.

It saves inconsistently and I recurringly lose all my work

Has an undo and no redo, leading to disasterous consequences for those that expect that behavior

Copying and pasting adds an outline to shapes that did not have it

Images constantly shrink and I have to add them again

I have to relink articles in order for their image or name to update

I frequently have to reselect style options and cannot inherit the styling of what I have selected

Grouping and ungrouping is a nightmare to do and it is very difficult to edit inside of a group

Scaling a shape will cause it to lose its fill when the line gets scaled to no longer from a closed loop

Scaling multiple shapes inconsistently allows the distortion of shapes vs forcing maitaining the current ratio

Clicking + does not auto focus in search field

How does this feature request address the current situation?

  By stabilizing existing features prior to creating new ones it will make users excited for new features because they believe that any short comings they may have will also in turn be addressed.

@Dimitri - I don't have a problem with following the guidelines for Feature Requests. I thoroughly read through the instructions prior to posting and I did not see anything noting that this was not a place for feature overhaul suggestions. Since we can only post one feature suggestion at a time it can be extremely painful to work through a large list of enhancements we would like to see made. Sometimes upgrading features is less about specific enhancements we want to see and more about describing an overarching overhaul.   If you read the below it doesn't mention anything about not posting this sort of thing. If it did I wouldn't have posted it.   "Before you suggest something, search for previous suggestions that might cover your thoughts, suggestions that are previously declined or accepted that are resuggested will be deleted. Also, check our the current roadmap to make sure that your suggestion is not included already in the upcoming releases. This board should be used to suggest FEATURES not changes in policy like (change the way X is charged, or change the way you run Y, or put this feature on a lower tier). Policy suggestions will be removed. Finally, please keep in mind that I am a single person developing World Anvil, even if I wanted to, I cannot do everything, even if a suggestion is accepted it might take time to be done. You know very well I am doing my best to make you happy but you are more than 1.5 million and I am one."   I also looked around the website and did not find anything highly visible. This seemed the most approachable place and nothing said not to list them here. Now that I google searched I found the Github and I may log these bugs there if they are not already there.
