Autolink plural (advanced) matching

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

The autolink feature does not pick up words with plural forms. For example Bob is picked up, but Bobs isn't. Maybe there could be an optional checkbox to signify that we want to pick up anything that even partially matches in selective matching. (Perhaps called "deep autolinking" or something.)

How does this feature request address the current situation?

The autolink is great, but I still have to manually go over my stuff for plural words. Since my articles are in singular form most of the time and I often use them in plural forms it does come up a lot.

What are other uses for this feature request?

Some plural forms would still not be picked up (such as Dwarf for Dwarves) but it would be a great step forward, especially for users who like the selective linking and can manually double check whether the extended word should be picked up or not. (For example "Hamburger" shouldn't link "Ham", but "various hams" should. The user would know this when doing selective replace)
