What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation? I would like to be able to configure World Anvil to use my Homebrew TTRPG system and create/build this system in WA.
How does this feature request address the current situation? Perhaps associated with the Players Handbook, I would like rules written there to be applicable in character creation and running the game.
What are other uses for this feature request?
Custom TTRPG rule systems could be playtested and created by our community. With all of the licensing issues with OGL this could be a place where we can develop our own rules without worry or consequence.
The Team's Response
Hi! Thanks for the suggestion. This is already possible:
To write the rules, you can use the generic article template. Since you're a Sage, you can also create character sheet templates from scratch, although it requires technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TWIG.
Check out the Codex guide for more information. If the RPG system you're using isn't in the list, you can request it here:
https://forms.gle/ULXn2ZQMUMbQ6Yi66. Note that in order for a character sheet to enforce the system's rules you'll need advanced TWIG knowledge and you'll have to code it yourself. If you're in our Discord server, you can check out the #twig-help channel for help with custom statblock templates!
