What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
If you have multiple cultures with different calendars and addd a year/month/day event on your master timeline then copy the same event to another parallel timeline, the year adjusts according to your eras in the new timeline, but the days and months do NOT adjust according to the calendar for that timeline. This is frustrating because my master timeline follows a calendar with 12 months, each month 30 days. But my parallel timeline has 13 months with 22 days each. It would be great if it would calculate the correct date with months and days.How does this feature request address the current situation?
The feature I request would address the situation by implementing the calendar that you enter for your timeline. So if I have an event on 1/30/7605 on my master timeline, when I add this same event to my parallel timeline the date could read 2/8/105 or something. I don't want the months to have to be the same on every timeline.What are other uses for this feature request?
This can really help people figure out specific dates across timelines that belong to different calendars while still remaining accurate.The Team's Response
Hey there :) I am not sure you appreciate the complexity of what is asked here :) This is an extremely complex calculation and the current TIMELINES system is not built to display parallel timelines. This means that for THIS system to do that, first we'd have to introduce same dating system parallel timelines and THEN upgrade it to have calendar based offset. Part of that will be addressed by the Chronos update (please check the current roadmap) bound to release within Q1 of 2022 :)
