A recycling bin for deleted articles

Have you deleted an article in the past only to find out some time later that you actually still needed that article? I know I did. Right now, deleting an article gets rid of it entirely and forever.
Adding a recycling bin under the "Tools" section of the sidebar would get rid of that (to be fair, not that common) problem. It could be either limited by time (deleted articles stay in the recycling bin for 7 days) or by amount (a maximum of 20 deleted articles, adding another one deleted the oldest article).
The Team's Response
Articles can be turned as drafts or private. creating a private category calling it "trash can" might be a much better solution for that.

on 2021-05-14 15:52This would be incredible - some sort of recycling bin that saves deleted articles for 30 days or so before throwing them into the abyss forever. I've deleted a couple (very lengthy and detailed) articles by accident and had to completely redo them. Very frustrating.
