#SummerCamp Stuff!   So I ended up having a bit of a mini-theme to the articles I did during the final week of #SummerCamp24 (none of which were actually final week prompts...) - focusing a bit more on the cultural quirks of Amaya, which is my primary setting.   A Myth about Food Well, a myth about a feast anyway? The Guest's Uprising - the story of how the great House of Asther came to seize power from the previous royal family... via betrayal during a welcoming feast week.   [B]A Profession Considered Dirty A dirty job (spying) done by "dirty" things (...rats... insects... pigeons... raccoons... cats are pretty clean, though.)   A Ritual that represents moral decay. A week-long festival celebrating the Guest's Uprising event. Includes a good deal of usually illegal activity, debauchery, general decadence and, of course... the celebration of a betrayal.   Finally, I have an index of all the SC'24 articles that I did!   The last three articles are far rougher than the previous ones, since I didn't finish them until 9 hours before the event ended! But they're still there, and fairly important for the culture of my beloved Amaya. I'll have to clean them up and fancy them up later.   It's also always interesting to write things around Samael because there's just a lot going on there. I'm gonna need to take a week off from work to write his article, clearly.   I don't normally do global posts, and I don't know if I'll continue to do them on a non-event-related basis as they make me a bit nervous.   I might!   But if not, see you all in...
