I don’t even know how long I was on the move; time is hard to tell here, but when I finally settle down, I create my window and begin peering through again. It was whiplash, it had been months. I was hit with a mix of feelings when I found out that Er-Lan had died, Sirris was removed from his life, and he had married Nier. They was a lot of information to come by, but to make it seem worse, they were in the midst of another problem as they were embroiled in a fight against both the Hidden Devil and a Grand Fae.

I gave them my silent cheers as I watched Kel use his newfound magic, and almost laughing at myself later when I realized that, like Nier, I was worried when he suddenly collapsed from his new magic. But Kel, his family, and his friends eventually pulled through and got victory.

After that event I took some time to grieve for Er-Lan myself. I know I don’t really have a right too since I never met him and I’ll never meet the Gilven, but I feel that pain anyway. I watched as Kel finally got sometime to relax, until he decided to mess with that soul stone of his after all this time. I felt proud when he gathered friends and came up with a plan to make sure everything was safe when he used it, but I felt instantly uneasy when they left the Material Plane, and I was once more unable to watch him. I flinched just a little when a distant light suddenly went off in the distance. Were it any closer, I probably would’ve moved again, but I didn’t want to leave Kel again incase something happened. He came back only moments later with all his friends and someone new.

I was relieved that nothing went wrong, but I was anticipating the introduction of this new stranger and laughed just a little when they asked him to hide in the bushes. But I was also curious as to why Kel would even ask them to do that, so I watched carefully to find out what I could.

Then he told Alvaria who it was. Westra. I instantly switched the window to them in the bushes and just watched for several more minutes, watched her interact with everyone until I was sure it was true. It was Westra. I put my hand on the window as I began to cry. She was somehow still alive, but I was stuck here, in a world that I can’t escape, and I was doomed to watch my sister die all over again.
