Some years later, while watching a myriad of adventures and heroes go about their days, saving people and going on grand quest, I catch wind of something I did not think was ever possible. Trish and Claire had escaped their confinement. I want to help so badly, help keep those two from getting worse or destroying other lives, but once more all I can do is watch.

I almost jump with excitement however when a pair of adventurers do go after Trish. An interesting pair to say the least, I’ve been watching their family on and off over the years and have become quite attached to seeing them succeed. The career adventurers Er-Lan and Alvaria Gilven are the ones to pick up the hunt.

I keep my window open and watch their entire journey, until they finally catch up to her in a lost temple in Corrvis. Luckily for them, she had been collecting her phylactery at the time so everything they needed to overcome her was already at their fingertips. I don’t want to root for Trish’s death, but I know her plans aren’t good for the world at large, so like so many others before her, I know her death is necessary.

I watch in anticipation as they confront her in the temple. Of course she doesn’t even try to speak to them and instead just attacks them on sight, but those two obviously have amazing synergy as they work together to fight off Trish. Alvaria is severely wounded, but before anything can get any worse Er-Lan is able to cut down Trish and help Alvaria.

I let out a sigh of relief as they find and destroy Trish’s phylactery, ensuring that she cant come back to hurt anyone ever again. I’d like to congratulate the both of them for doing the world a great service, but I can settle for at least being there with them when it happened. For now I’ll Keep watching the Gilven, Their spirit and makes me happy, and Bahamut knows I need more of that in my life.
