The vast lands of the Viridian Marches have been fought over by neighbouring powers for millenia, yet continue to remain unclaimed. In the 108th year of the Sixth Age, a new attempt to colonize these lands rich in resources and treasure has begun.
The Lurindor Compact, a nation of powerful merchant lords, have parceled the Marches into four regions, and granted colonial charters for three of them each to wealthy and resourceful groups. The last of the four regions, the poorest in resources and greatest in dangers, lies unclaimed.
Now, four souls of disparate backgrounds find themselves banding together to take up this foolish challenge. With only desperation and hope for a better future in common, the newly formed Evergreen Company embarks on an adventure that will lead them to heights of power and danger beyond their imagination.
