You studied magic at one of the primary schools of magic worldwide (Harvard, Royal Academy of Magic, etc.)  

• Your Intelligence score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill. If you are already proficient in the skill, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it.
• You gain proficiency with one of these tools: Cartographer's tools, Calligrapher's Supplies, or Alchemist Supplies.
