Gnosis is a Talent unlocked through the True Utterances Codex. Gnosis is the talent to comprehend and recall the very precise intonations and pronunciations necessary to reproduce the tongue-twisty, memory-escaping syllables of the true names along with the necessary linguistic connectors involved in any true utterance. Particular uses of Gnosis require unlocking additional Xtras from the True Utterances Codex known as Tiers of Knowing.

Special:

Gnosis is only used for uttering actions (Refer to True Utterances Codex for details).
Gnosis requires that you have at least the First Tier of Knowing in order to use it.
If you don’t have a rank of at least Average (+1) in Gnosis, you don’t have the talent and can’t use it.

Create an Advantage: The impetus of an utterance will determine if this is the appropriate action for the utterance. That said, it is possible to use this action to obtain a short-lived potent aspect TRUE NAME on a target that you’ve interacted with for at least 3 exchanges. If the target has Will, it may oppose the roll—even at a distance—using Will with a +4 bonus.
