If the target is a Huge or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, the soulflayer can't use its polearm on another target. Soul Rend (Recharge 6). The soulflayer creates a vortex of life-draining energy in a 20-foot radius centered on itself. Each humanoid in that area must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 33 (6d10) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Increase the damage by 10 for each living humanoid with 0 hit points in that area.
