You have worked as a craftsman for a while and have managed to put your profession to good use and actually make some profit doing it. You have been accepted by the guild that governs your profession. In order to pick this trait you must have a skills from the Crafts group. If you do not pick a skill from the group, you have instead forged your credentials or bribed someone to give it to you.

2: This means that you have succeeded your journeyman test and have been given your journeyman certification. You are allowed to work and demand payment for your services under the supervision of your master.
4: This means that you have succeeded your master test and have been given the title of master in your chosen profession. You may now open your own branch of work and don't need to give your master part of your profit, as you are your own master now. You can ask for higher prices than the journeymen and can also take on your own apprentices and hopefully turn them into journeymen.
