1/day: As a the main carrier of the Plague the Blisterwyvern while airborn may violently shake to shed off shards of crystals and a thick dust fog from its wings and tail. Once the crystals either imbed the target or shatter on the ground a thick gaseous cloud forms and on contact it may spread the plague.   Plague fog: Targets in a 50 foot radius must make a a DC 13 dexterity save to avoid the falling crystal shards on a failed save they take 2d4 piercing damage. Targets who took piercing damage, start their turn in the area or end their turn in the area must make a DC 15 constitution save or be infected by the plague.

Actions

Multiattack:   The Blisterwyvern makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its stinger. While flying, it can use its claws in place of one other attack.   Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10ft., one creature. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage.   Claws: Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage.   Stinger: Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10ft., one creature. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage. The target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The first Blisterwyvern was accidentally created when Republic scientists exposed tamed Wyverns to biochemical experiments early in the 2nd age. Although it would have been a wiser choice to exterminate them, Senator Eckhart ordered further study of the creatures in controlled habitats , while keeping the some of the military in the dark.   Biology: Blisterwyverns are a species of enormous, mutated bats, presumed to be Republic Attack Wyverns.[9] The gargantuan creature has retained its ancestors' stinger, membranous wings, allowing it to fly and soar through the air, and noxious poison. However, it has grown multiple spines along its tail, lost much of its scales, developed a beak to replace its old jaw, and evolved to become the carrier of a plague which converts any infected living being into the the Blisterseared. Despite their size, Blisterwyverns possess considerable agility, and even when grounded they can leap several times their body length in one bound. Despite the behavior of their progenitors, Blisterwyverns are not averse to cooperatively hunt in groups
