Bloodbender

Any Necromancy Spell

Through your proficiency dealing with necromantic magics and rituals, you have discovered a long-lost art known as bloodbending.   You choose a target within a range of 15 feet. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or suffer 1d4 necrotic damage and immediately lose 10 feet of movement until the end of its next turn.   You immediately gain 10 feet of movement and this 1d4 becomes a spike of pure crystallized blood energy which you may then throw at a target as a bonus action.   If your target is an enemy, make a ranged spell attack roll. On a success, deal 1d4 necrotic damage to the target and it cannot regain hit points until the start of its next turn.   If the target is an ally, no roll is made, they are healed for 1d4 hit points, and any healing they receive from a subsequent bloodbend on a following turn is increased by one die.   The damage and healing of this ability increases to 2d6 at 5th level, 3d8 at 9th level, 4d10 at 13th level, and 5d12 at 17th level.
