Must go through Crest Worm Procedure

You've agreed to put yourself through a brutal procedure to have special crest worms be inserted into your body. Once the procedure is finished, you gain the following attributes:

• You gain spellcasting skills equivalent to an 8th level sorcerer. Your spellcasting ability is Charisma. If you already have spellcasting, you instead gain all of your spellcaster abilities up to level 8.
• You take a permanent -2 to all ability checks and saves.
• You have chronic brutal pain across your whole body. At the end of a short or long rest, you have a 50% chance to take 1D12 necrotic damage and lose a hit die. Additionally, you always have a failed death save filled in.
• You have disadvantage on all checks and saves involving intelligence, wisdom, and charisma.
• Your life expectancy is reduced by 50%
