The Founder’s Calendar

While used daily for the people of Zyria, its origins are well forgotten. Believed to be created by the first civilization, The Founder’s Calendar is considered to be quite an accomplishment for their time. Studying the calendar, many would now figure out it originates from the sun and stars, something many thought was a more recent ability. Nevertheless, its origins seem to lay unquestioned due to its universal use.

Zyria Time vs. Real Time

Below will be the general system of time, seasons, and months that will be used on Zyria. The time system has been made to be rather simple, but still allow plenty of time for you to grow your characters.

1 Minute of game time would equate to 1.25 Seconds of real time.
1 Hour of game time would equate to 75 Seconds of real time.
1 Day of game time would equate to 30 Minutes of real time.
1 Week of game time would equate to 3 Hours of real time.
1 Month of game time would equate to 12 Hours of real time.
1 Year of game time would equate to 1 Week of real time.

Days, Weeks & Months

The founder's calendar has days, weeks and months as most calendars do. There are 6 days in a week and 4 weeks in a month. Each month equally has 24 days, nothing shorter, nothing more.
Compared to a traditional calendar, we use 14 Months instead of 12, to better fit around 1 Week equaling a year. Listed below are the names of said months:
Janayir, Fibrayir, Maris, April, Mayu, Athar, Juniyu, Julia, Agustus, Sibtembar, Tammuz, Octubar, Nuvambar, Disambar

Seasons

Vernal, also known as Spring, can be observed during the months of Janayir through April. Somer can be observed during the months of Mayu through Juniyu. Autumn can be observed during the months of Julia through Tammuz. Winter, the coldest season, can be observed during the months of Octubar through Disambar.
