Beastspeech
Beastspeech is a language developed by the Beastfolk tribes of the Wildlands, as a method of communication that's more comfortable to their kind. Due to their facial and vocal structures, the Beastfolk have a difficult time speaking many of the world's other languages. As such, they developed a language together over a long period of time out the sounds that none of them have difficulty making. It consists of various guttural growls, hoots, howls, and cries. While there are phonetic sounds within the language, most meaning is communicated through tone of voice.
Geographical Distribution
This language is rarely spoken outside of the Wildlands. Most Beastfolk outside of the Wildlands can speak it as well however, and are greatly appreciative of anyone they encounter who can speak Beastspeech.
