Squirrel (Playable Race)

Squirrels are small, fast mammals with big bushy tails. Commonly confused with chipmunks, squirrels are known for their acute senses and quick reflexes, making them hard to catch and ideal mounts for sprites of all stripes.
Squirrel colonies tend to form in family groups, often tied to a specific tree or set of trees. This means that squirrels tend to form pacts with nearby sprites, often contracting tasks with them in exchange for goods (mostly acorns and other seeds). While small, they can be ferocious when cornered, sporting both sharp teeth and quick claws.
Squirrels do not have any aversions to magic (as some of the talking squirrels do practice magic), and are most commonly known for practicing the Lore of Earth, the Lore of Life, and the Lore of Fire (albeit the more maniacal members of their clans, but still prevalent).
