Spriggan

A human (well, humanesque: at only six inches tall they are way too small to be related to humans) form with wings, the spriggan clans build strong citadels in the crags of the mountains. Their entrances are often too small for a human arm to enter (as spriggans are very thin), but behind those small holes lie strong gates, vast cities, and a strong warrior tradition. The spriggan warriors have fought with ferocity for years among the smaller races, and their forces are well-tested against the mettle of their enemies.
But not all of their people are dedicated to war. Their urban townsfolk are skilled workers, trained diplomats, and knowledgeable monks and scholars, capable of entertaining and providing for others that come to their cities.
Though they are about double the height of the Sundancers, they have often served as envoys and warriors to accompany the pixies on diplomatic missions, as their greater size makes it easy to scout and protect pixi emissaries. They are very close friends with the pixies, who they lovingly refer to as the Undines (or “favored ones” in the Sprigg tongue).
Spriggans tend to practice the Dark Lore and the Lore of Light (ironically: their traveling mercenary nature lends them to both sides of the spectrum based on what they need), and have no natural magic aversions.
