Leafman

The leafmen were first found among the leaves of a temar tree – a proud and very small people. They have pointy ears, often wear leaves and animal skins for clothing, and have a strong martial tradition for being only five or six inches tall. They can often be found astride squirrels or hummingbirds (their riders commonly referred to as Wingriders), but also fight on foot as sentinels of their towns, and have long been engaged in wars against the gobskens and the kobolds.
The leafmen claim to have been the first humanesque creatures in all of Zurn, predating the elves. It is also completely possible that the elves are still unaware of the existence of leafmen, so to date no one has challenged them in this claim. And that, they believe, is how it should stay.
