Ferret (Playable Race)

Ferrets are small vermin trained by the Big Folk to hunt small game. But do you know who taught the ferrets to do that in the first place? Sprites. Ferrets make both reliable mounts and faithful companions to sprites who travel (as adventurers do), because of their excellent tracking and sensory skills. When playing a ferret, there is almost no burrow, den, or sprite town that you cannot get into with a sharp set of fangs and claws.
Ferrets typically make their homes in mountain crags, or in the marshy ground near a river or lake. The sprites learned quickly the value of ferrets, and they have lived in harmony with the sprites for centuries. Playing a ferret gives you access to an excellent tracker, sentinel, and sneak character, with the ability to easily create an agile, cunning hunter.
