Dark Sprite (Imp)

The dark sprites are not evil – they’re just mischievous in the way that easily frightened people (like women who hate spiders and mice) would consider evil. Imps are trouble rousers, but don’t assume that this precludes them from the art of war. The arochs of the imps are mighty warriors, among the strongest of the Little Folk, and not surprising as they stand about eight inches tall.
Of course, there are also some who simply excel at plotting mischief and deception, and these, often referred to as fiends, tend to be the strategists, tacticians, and loremasters of the imps. So if you see a wide grin on a small body flying through the underbrush, beware: he’s likely up to no good.
Imps tend to favor the Dark Lore and Arcane Lore, though they have no natural aversions to any magic lore. Dark sprites also tend to favor the utility spells over the damage spells in a magic lore, using the illusory, sensory, and evasion abilities to frustrate Little Folk and Big Folk alike.
