Caitsith

Caitsith look like a cat met a human and had a child that took on the best traits of both. With the long ears, slender tail, and padded feet and hands of a cat with the durable frame and opposed thumb of a human form, the caitsith are capable six-inch tall creatures with a mind of their own.   They are not particularly sophisticated in crafting– definitely below that of the Coblynaureu and the hobgoblins, but what they lack in natural skill they make up in sheer willpower. They are tenacious, coy creatures with padded steps, smooth words, and excellent senses.   The scouts of the caitsith are excellent among the sprites, with their small frames and silent natures giving bonuses to hiding and sneaking. The scavengers of their towns are renowned for their ability to throw together defenses, structures, and tools from close to nothing, and since “many hands make light work” (as the caitsith saying goes), these can be thrown together quite quickly.   Caitsith mages are not common, but when you do find one you tend to find them using the Dark Lore and the Lore of Fire.
