In a universe parallel to our own their are countless heroes and villains who duke it out almost constantly. Add in the occasional alien invasion or otherworldly breeches and the world goes into complete disarray. This is the Zultraverse where Ultraheroes and Ultravillains are constantly up to crazy shenanigans.   Just like our world, the Zultraverse was somewhat peaceful until the 2012 BEL INC virus happened. BEL INC or Biological Endeavors Laboratories Incorporated created a symbiotic virus for the United States military for the sole purpose of creating stronger soldiers. However, all good intentions could always go wrong and they did.   On July 4th 2012, a high tech cat-burglar broke into the Army Research Laboratory in Orlando, Florida. All the security footage revealed was a woman in a silver nanosuit strolling up to the building and activating a device that knocked out the power to the whole base. By the time security arrived Colonel Chase Strongolnoff and a dozen personnel were found lying on the floor unconscious.   When the good colonel came to he confirmed that the burglar was from Sinesco Technologies. Immediately and the others were tested by BEL INC scientists for any changes. When nothing was found they were allowed to visit their families after a mandatory quarantine. Unbeknownst to the world at that time the virus is highly contagious and symptoms don't occur within the first thirty days. When Strongolnoff and a few others started showing symptom whether through physical changes or unusual powers BEL INC and the military realized that they opened Pandora's Box. Jump forward to today and several countries now have their own super soldiers and the average kid contracts the Zultra Virus at age thirteen if they are not immune to it or given a yearly immunization at their parents' discretion.
