Aronin Hazenscar

Wizard of the Blue Thunderbolts Aronin Hazenscar (a.k.a. Dragon Caster)

Born in Murghôm, the nation of Dragon Princes, Aronin Hazenscar spent much of his life studying dragons as did many other Murghômi but his focus drew him to the pantheons, the gods of men, titans, and magic. It was in his studies of magic in his home village of Skalnaedyr, also called Skalnae or formerly Phannaskull, that he truly began to understand some underlying truths of the world. He studied the gods that ruled above as a scholar instead of a worshiper, he delved into magic as a scientist instead of a fanatic, but he looked upon dragons in awe. Eventually, after joining the Order of the Blue Thunderbolt, his studies would reward him with a fairly vast repository of knowledge and a spellbook that would prepare him for a war amongst the brutish humanoids abound but he knew his growth was incomplete. Eventually his mentor would approach and send him to the Sword Coast to work for the Hosttower of the Arcane. To learn more, Aronin knew he had to travel to lands far-afield to truly dive into the truth of the world, Aronin knew he would have to study forgotten realms.   Traveling to the Sword Coast, Aronin would find a realm vast and unfamiliar. The Sword Coast was a truly a wild place with humans, unlike his home, living among more then just dragons and the occasional elf or dwarf, they dwelt with all manner of beastmen and beneath their very feet, forgot realms of untold knowledge and intrigue. Aronin had to act, he knew he had to discover all that could be known along the Sword Coast and beyond.

Personal history

As familial legend would have it, in the depths of a forgotten dungeon beneath the Sword Coast Herrald the Unbroken would delve deep. Met with brutish orcs and gnawing goblins, Herrald would fight through a haze of bloody mist and take a battled beating. Emerging victorious in a land far and unfamiliar to him, the haze of blood would fall, and before some locals, a scared man would stand. Called Haze-n-Scared that man would settle and build a family, the Hazenscar family. The Milan people would treat the family well and in return be paid in kind as that family grew evermore local. Becoming accomplished farmers, the family gave birth to an accomplished child.   Born in Phannaskull on the 4th of Alturiak 1464, Aronin would listen to his father's tales of magic, titans, and gods. Pleased by what he heard, Aronin's imagination ran wild. In his very childhood Aronin sought magical texts and explored them without end into his teenage years when the dragon Skalnaedyr would flee a plague and conquer his home town. Rife with books his father had bought him over the years, Aronin searched them for dragons and began to study. Eventually, the Order of the Blue Thunderbolts took notice.   As Aronin's became a man, his talents became obvious. In 1484 at the age of twenty, after Skalnaedyr took Aronin's hometown after fleeing a plague, his family became aware of the Order of the Blue Thunderbolts and the order offered to teach Aronin magic and draconic lore. During his six years of education, learning magic, lore, and languages, Aronin was put in the center of turmoil under the tutelage of the order's leader, Zjackam Sorabald, but in so doing he earned great respect. As the year 1490 fell Sorabald requested, given Aronin's many talents, that Aronin travel to Luskan to the Hosttower of the Arcane. The mission he gave Aronin was to meet with a contact there that he trusted in order to secretly translate several texts at the request of that individual. Sorabald would, uncharacteristically, offer deep appreciation and praise for Aronin's acceptance of the task and the body of his past work as Aronin made plans to travel to the Sword Coast and bid goodbye to his family.   Sorabald would then take Aronin to one of the order's hidden locations where a teleportation rune was prepared by another member. Sorabald then informed Aronin that the head of the Hosttower of the Arcane, Zartan a strange fellow, should be heeded as if he were Sorabald. He informed Aronin that Zartan was a master war mage with access to a great library of war magic. Described as a tall, red hair warrior unlike any mage, Aronin was handed several scrolls to prepare new spells on and sent through to find that very mage.   In the city of Luskan, Aronin arrived at a tower and met Zartan in late winter. Given a cloak, Zartan welcomed Aronin warmly and guided him through the tower. Zartan introduced him to the main library as well as, pridefully, a practice room under construction. At a petrified door there stood within a circular room 80 foot in diameter divided into sections with an obsidian pillar that connected to the walls and floors of the same make, the cost of which was beyond anything in Aronin's homeland. Divided into 12 sections, runes were inscribed in some sections but two were covered. In one such zone, Zartan summoned two beautiful chairs before he shared a command word the utilize his adjustments to arcane defection. Pulled from their bodies, Zartan and Aronin entered a near ethereal form where their physical bodies could not be hurt. They traded shots and Zartan proved his superiority before they returned to their bodies, with Aronin drained but unharmed.   Zartan then informed Aronin that he would be using his primordial to translate scrolls and books. Zartan also informed Aronin that he had to prepare a contract that could harm either of them should they break it. For Aronin, the infernal of the contract read that if ever he informed anyone of what he read, that he would be a servant of a being on the plane of Dis. For Zartan it meant that he had to help the Order of the Blue Thunderbolts against their mutual enemy, the Dragon Cult. Upon the fleshy, leather pages they signed their name (for Aronin having found that magic divulgance couldn't be used against him) with Aronin saying in draconic, "fortune favors the bold" before a huge demonic hand exited a fiery portal and took the contract.   Zartan then showed Aronin to his room and he got settled in. His room was complete with lavish furniture and old mossy books, written in primordial. They were all historical accounts of Chult and the primordial abound. He learned of a god war and a being called Ubtao. Most importantly, the scholars who wrote the texts warned of the Yuan-ti and their desire to awaken the Night Serpent, which yearns to eat the sun. Aronin learned of the local settlements but when he translated a portion that mentioned a shrine of Ubtao hidden in some jungle, he drew in all comers. The first to his side was Zartan's second, a grim human wizard, soured and called Bulgoloth. The next was his preferred contact, Zartan's third, in her mid-40's, the human Janoth. It wasn't long after that translation that Aronin's work was completed.   It was then that Aronin journeyed Luskan. Come late summer, Flamerule 20, 1492 after two years of work, he learned of the city around. It was in that time of exploration that Zartan congratulated Aronin for a job well done and for that effort Zartan had done more then what was needed which allowed for Aronin's order to build a tower and become respected among Skalnaedyr, eventually winning over the city. Together, Aronin and Zartan began to train and all the benefit fell unto Aronin. Enhancing Aronin's spells and entirely teaching him Scorching Ray and Find Familiar, Aronin became a formidable force and his relationship with Zartan flourished.   As Zartan trained Aronin, the tower completed its practice room. The two trained until the 1st of Eleint when Zartan told Aronin that he was on his way to becoming an excellent war mage. Expressing the fact that he enjoyed Aronin's presence, he gifted Aronin a sword that he had crafted. At first it appeared as if only a hilt with runes inscribed in a series on the side, a hidden connection among them presented the Hosttower of the Arcane. Held in Aronin's hand, focused with his magical essence, a blue blade that looked metal and appeared to glow sprang forth from the hilt. Aronin's gratitude was known that day as Zartan gave him a clasp to affix the sword to his belt before pointing out a blank space for Aronin's Ruby on the bottom of the sword. Like many other swords that Zartan had crafted, that one was a Wizard's Blade.   Flush with the feeling of accomplishment, Aronin accepted a deal from the tower to stay at the "Safe" Sails Inn (actually Seven Sails Inn) for 2gp a night but eventually wanderlust would take him. Before long, Aronin would head south on a slow wagon on the 12th of Eleint, to explore Neverwinter. Neverwinter proved a bright, cheery settlement and Aronin loved his time there. Unfortunately, he then began, by mid-Marpenoth to hear of an explosion on the 25th of Eleint that took off the top of the Hosttower. Aronin then headed back to Luskan to sort through a horde of rumors.

Aronin's Downfall
5th of Nightal, 1492

Back in Skalnaedyr, Aronin made his report on the transport of the dragon and took the time to have a nice dinner. At dinner The Outsiders agreed that their best course of action was to venture back to Evermeet. Once with Bargala, Eldred explained a terrible and threatening dream he had the night before and Aronin suggested that what was forgotten was his holy symbol, that the symbol of Selûne was holding back some sort of evil. Bargala transported The Outsiders with a teleport circle and Aronin took a great interest in it. The Outsiders arrived at Eldred's commune in Mirabar on the 7th of Nightal and spent time with the monk, Master Habb, that gave Eldred his holy symbol. The next morning as The Outsiders walked back to Mirabar and found a door floating along the path. With a stride of confidence, Aronin approached it and declared, "Fortune favors the bold."   Nigh on sucked into the door, Aronin falls into area through it, a passage way lined with stone. Stood up by Eldred, who claims it was where he was from, Aronin encouraged, "let's go in and find out who owns the place."   Inside The Outsiders meet Barney, an attendant, who guided the group to a room full of others. He did tell the group that Eldred was not born of the maze of tunnels. On a stage a man appeared in white robes with gold trim, he addressed the crowd as adventurers. He explained that fate choose each person to be a representative of the tower. He explained that the tower represents life and choice but it has adversarial agents. The man offered a choice to leave but allowed questions. He explained that the tower is the central point of all life and creation, that Eldred was sent by a man whom claimed to be his father, he claimed that the tower is a place of magic, and that Eldred's clock is from his home and that it is from his father. Once in a room with the man, Eldred looked out a window there and saw an impossible length of tower going down with massive beams of light shooting out from the tower above. After each member looked through window Aronin asked and was informed that the lights were in fact the many worlds connected to the tower.   Down a series of stone stairs The Outsiders are taken to a room with a powerful being whom chose Aronin and then Eldred but not Osa. Stepped forward, he two were offed a choice ultimate power and an inevitability or to serve the tower. In his head Aronin thought to himself, "we're not aware of darkness when we sleep, so if we go into sleep, into unconsciousness, for always and always it wouldn't be like going into the dark, it wouldn't be at all like being buried alive. It would be as if, as for a matter of a fact, as if we never existed at all and not only for us but for everything, for us all. It would be as if we had never been. Everything comes to an end, eventually it all stops. I embrace the inevitable." Aronin then stepped off and felt worlds of knowledge and power flow into him.

Aronin's Return Home
4th of Nightal, 1492

After staying at the Tower of the Blue Thunderbolts and spending some time in town with Eldred at the Shocking Suds so that he could charm a dwarf and get some new daggers built, The Outsiders ventured out. Upon eastern Skalnaedyr a meteor shower was producing undead monsters and The Outsiders learned that holy water would melt those rocks. With their small quest completed, they ventured back to town. The Outsiders arrive in town to much suspicion and disdain from the commonfolk. After informing Sjackham about the meteors, he informed The Outsiders that the town had fallen under Cult rule in their absence. After reminding Aronin of the weak dragonborn Ananta, whom held sway in the dragon meeting place Dracowyr, and her great standing with Skalnaedyr; they discussed Etephyr's future as the town's leader. Sjackham sent The Outsiders to Bargala, whom had arrived at the tower, and then they went to see Etephyr and Ananta. She informed the group of the Great Game of Dragons where the dragons compete to solve problems as well as her intention to hid Etephyr in Dracowyr. Aronin failed at first but with the help of his companions eventually convinced Etephyr to journey with Ananta to Dracowyr, though he requested The Outsider's company on the journey. After The Outsiders gathered their belongings in town, Bargala gave them a decanter for the dragon and they set about to adventure once more.   After ritually casting Find Familiar, Aronin found a black male hawk that was so black it was blue. The night black hawk followed them to gather Ananta and Etephyr. At Etephyr's feet Aronin fed him the decanter which rejuvenated his wings. On that day, the 5th of Nightal, 1492, Ananta transported The Outsiders to a tower on stone floating in the air. Within Dracowyr the group explored and found a massive map of Murghôm (where Aronin studied the Mountains Copper and learned several trails leading up), in another room Ananta brought Aronin a spellbook with two spells within (Magic Mouth and Hold Person), and then before she casted the group away she informed the group that Skalnaedyr had fallen in the games. The group said their goodbyes and returned to Skalnaedyr.

Aronin's Adventure With a Dragon
5 Uktar, 1492

After The Outsiders traveled south from Skalnaedyr, they arrived at the edge of the Plains of Purple Dust. With the scale in hand, Aronin got the sense that they were some distance from their destination when they decided to setup camp. With a flight of fancy Aronin took Eldred's sword and lit the fire by casting Green Flame Blade around the sword; Elred retorted with a spell of his own that allowed a dragon to dance in his hands before disappearing. After another day of travel, The Outsiders were assaulted by giant lizards from beneath the sand. As the companions prove their heroism, Aronin rushed in for the final kill, splashing though the sand, and he killed it with a swipe of his Wizard's Blade eager from his well placed, previous, Fire Bolts. Upon a night of rest Aronin sees flesh eating ghouls and awakens the party, they rush to meet the beasts and quips, "hello there." Eldred swung his sword and rended chunks from the Ghoul as Aronin ran to the side and flung three magic missiles at the far ghoul. Osa's arrow then sunk into the skull of the next ghoul, ruining their attack. Eldred then flew and followed the ghouls tracks but found nothing aside from a tower to the west.   The Outsiders headed west intent on heading to the tower, intercepted by death dogs, Aronin leaped from his camel and fired three scorching rays at one of them. The other dog rushed Aronin and bit him with its poisonous gnaw. Osa rushed into battle and cut into the dog with a mighty blow but it dodged her second attack. Eldred hopped off his camel and slashed into the dog as Aronin's targer came and bit into Osa. Aronin fired a Witch Bolt over top of the dog before being bit near to death. Osa slayed the beast that bit Aronin and Eldred sent Aronin's original target to the hells. After Eldred bandaged Aronin, the group rested for the night and whilst Aronin felt better he, like Osa, was well aware that poison still coursed through his veins.   On the morning of the 9th, Osa's skin appeared infected or rotten. The Outsiders continued to ride and to the tower in the distance. The tower turned out to be a tower of the Cult of the Dragon; Sir Cronin, rider of the Wyvern Sara, showed the group to the gate whilst boasting about the cult. Taken inside a priest, Father Lorst, cured Osa and Aronin's affliction for a donation of 250 gold paid in platinum by Osa. Aronin did his best to remember the location of the tower to report back to his order. In the afternoon of the 13th they approached dunes and a bolt of lightening shot into the sky. It was a blue dragon wyrmling and a juvenile purple sand worm fighting for their lives. Osa and Eldred charged in as Aronin drew his blade and charged up around the worm. Casting Dragon's Breath on himself, Aronin blasts lightening from his mouth as Osa's sword slammed into the worm's hide and Eldred's blade slashed into the beast with a flurry of blows. Engulfed in the mouth of the worm, Eldred was taken into the worm's mouth as Aronin was hit with the worm's poisonous stinger but dodged the poison. Aronin then rapid fired his Scorching Ray at the worm killing it. As the creature burned and writhed in pain its mouth opened to reveal Eldred. Aronin was as honest as he could be about his mission and Aronin then offered aid and his camel to the dragon as food as Eldred cut the stinger off the tail of the worm. The dragon, Etephyr, agreed to follow The Outsiders back to Skalnaedyr and as per Eldred's suggestion; Aronin told the dragon everything he could about the cult and his mission on their journey back. Aronin mentioned to the dragon as they drew closer to the city that his loyalties lay first with dragons and then his order.   On the 21st The Outsiders arrived at the city to fanfare from both the Order and the Cult. Aronin introduced his master and the cult offered to repair the dragon's wing, Aronin suggested that the dragon choose by his own wisdom as their offer was unopposed. Etephyr ordered the cult away and choose to reside with the Order, he requested that Aronin teach him common. The Outsiders and the dragon marched into the the city to a parade.

Aronin's Adventure in Evermeet
28th of Marpenoth, 1492

In the home of Bargala Olithir, called the Tower of the Olithir, Aronin and the Outsiders had taken to the hospitality. The large mansion had lifted from the ground and drifted off to the northwest toward the Lake of Dreams as she'd shown us to quarters. She'd explained that the tower consumed magic to move and that the lake fueled it. She also explained that the tower could pass into other planes of existence as well. The Outsides then conversed on the fourth floor about languages before settling in, Aronin learned that Osa spoke Elven and Eldred spoke Infernal and Abyssal. Once settled in, Bargala a beautiful woman, offered us dinner and conversation around a table. Aronin, with the help of his wingman Eldred mildly flirted with Bargala as she asked about his home. Osa then explained what happened to her and Eldred in Chult. Eldred explained that they found a piece of Ubtao's heart in a temple and it was likely what blew the top off of the tower. He explained that they each received a boon from the primordial and Osa's was the knowledge of her lover's death. Eldred then asked about and spoke of the former Hosttower's quest for power and his transformation into a lich but Bargala put his mind to rest. Osa thanked Bargala once again after Aronin took a moment to flirt once more. After a drink of Elven Wine, The Outsiders accompanied Bargala to the library and Eldred informed her and the other Outsiders that Primus in Mechanus would have more answers.   After Osa and Eldred retired, Aronin agreed to meet Bargala in the ball room with his equipment. She had the instruments around magically play the Waltz as she kicked Aronin's ass all over the dance floor with their Wizard's Blade. She and Aronin then retired for an evening with Bargala which she thoroughly enjoyed, after awakening in Bargala's room The Outsider confer once more in the library. Bargala admitted to the most interesting week she'd had in a century as she began to discuss Wild Magic. She detailed Wild Magic and then spoke of the Cult of the Dragon. She told The Outsiders of the Dracoliches and Tiamat whom wish to bring to power. Aronin then discussed the opportunity with his compatriots and offered the wisdom that the situation would offer a great learning opportunity. Having agreed upon the quest, she offered to take The Outsiders to Skalnaedyr to combat the Cult of the Dragon. After a series of pleasant nights for The Outsiders, they arrived at a great forest that held the lake within. There were four pyramids in the lake and as the house then lowered and rested between them, magic energy began to spark and charge the house. Bargala then took the group to an Ironwood door that was in fact the treasury of the home. She offered Eldred a well made dwarven shortsword. She gifts Aronin a black spell book that looked very new. It was an enduring spellbook that couldn't be burned or soiled by water. Aronin's eyes couldn't leave it once the book was in his hands, as the conversation muffled he eventually found his way to the study to transcribe his book only taking another moment to lay with Bargala again.   On the morning of the 1st of Uktar, Bargala transported The Outsiders to Skalnaedyr and Aronin led them forward into his hometown. Aronin shed a tear as he saw his Order's 80' tall tower. Sagomith greeted The Outsiders but more specifically Aronin with a big hug. Everyone was excited to see him and Sagomith himself admitted that the tower could largely be attributed to Aronin. The Outsiders are lead to meet Sorabald and he took them to a local tavern. The tavern and inn was owned by the Blue Thunderbolts. At the meeting he informed Aronin that what he'd heard about the Order's rising was true. Sorabald then began speaking of the Plains of Purple Dust, the Rauthenflow, and the general area. Back at the tower Sorabald told The Outsiders that the Cult of the Dragon allied themselves with a young red dragon that could damage Aronin's Order. Master Sorabald them informed The Outsiders that a decedent of Skalnaedyr had appeared in the Plains of Purple Dust and that it could aid the Order should the lair of the dragon wyrmling. Sorabald then produced a wooden box that offered a single blue scale the size of a palm with a rune inscribed upon it, he claimed it to be a scale of Skalnaedyr. He handed Aronin the scale with a divination upon it and in Aronin's hands he felt a faint pull to the south. Sorabald then informed the group that representatives from Cormyr were coming to meet with the Master. Lionar Rodrik, a captain of the Purple Dragons, and a magic-user known as a Master entered and began to speak with them. Lionar Rodrik recognized Aronin as he informed the group of his standing with the Order and Cormyr's intent to stop the Cult of the Dragon. He offered to aid in the security of Murghôm though diplomats and direct security to the order. Offered a fine 100 year old brandy, The Outsider's find rest at the Order's Inn, The Shocking Suds. After three days of learning to ride camels to Aronin's laughter, the group learned to ride and Osa's camel even became friendly to her whilst Eldred's grew a gentle fondness for him.   The Outiders set out on the 4th of Uktar toward the Plains of the Purple Dust and in the night they saw distant travelers on the road to the north. On the morning of the 5th, Aronin sat back and smiled on a peaceful morning.

The Story of His First Adventure
22nd of Marpenoth, 1492

Aronin journeyed back to Luskan intent on finding out what happened to his friends, it took him five days to reach the town and thus, he arrived on the 22nd of Marpenoth. When he reached the Hosttower of the Arcane Aronin was greeted by Bulgoloth. His face was hideously warped and he told Aronin that he was expecting him. As they entered the tower, Aronin noticed that an explosion had taken the top of the tower off and immediate emergency construction was underway. As the dwarven masons worked, the pair entered and took Aronin to the third floor where Zartan awaited. Zartan told Aronin about the situation that occurred at the tower, he told Aronin about an artifact of immense power that could have unlocked immense magic. Given Aronin's research, Aronin assumed a connection to Obtao was in play. Aronin slept in his old quarters to await a fated meeting then presented by Bulgoloth. On the 25th, the fated meeting occurred and Aronin met Eldred and Osa. Eldred was a tiefling with wings and cat eyes and Osa was an Eladrin with long black hair, green eyes, and a beautiful white bow. Zartan introduced Eldred and Osa and asked them about their journey. He introduced each member of the group as outsiders as fate would have it. Zartan explained that Aronin had journeyed far, Osa was from the Feywild, and Eldred history was a mystery.   Eldred offered news of a finding as he brought out a brass hourglass with a crystal on top. There were rollers on the glass with a ribbon stung on of white and red. There was a latch that offered a series of gears below the crystal. A similar hourglass was in Eldred's nightmares, it was dread and doom and predicted oblivion or apocalypse and he had no idea where it came from. After a brief discussion, Eldred then handed a book titled "A Guide to Mechanus," to Aronin, after looking it over, it appeared to be a guide to the Outerplane. Zartan then took out a thin black leather book, which was in fact a portable spell book. Once opened Aronin found writings in common and magic formula but the common was off and strange like it was written by some insane person, the spell formula are all wrong and strange as well. Zartan told the Outsiders that when the book, clock, and the Tiefling were divined, they seemed to source from nowhere. However, Zartan believed that each thing came from somewhere beyond even the Outerplanes.   On the morning of the 26th, The Outsiders were offered breakfast and Eldred and Osa, warm welcome as the "Heroes of the Hosttower." The Outsiders were then taken to the Practice Room to Bulgoloth. He gathered each outsider around a crystal and informed them that he'd been given the gift of sight. They each placed their hands on the crystal and he divined fate. He called the group "The Outsiders," and informed that one outsider voluntarily exiled must return in two weeks or the path of fate will darken to black. He informed that another must relinquish their promise for the gain of good and that on the green isle another will play a key role to a path not yet set. The group then discussed the happening and realized that Osa exiled herself voluntarily and Eldred made a promise that he must be released from to Osa. Eldred knew then that he must be the one to state that he will take her to the green isle. Osa then explained that while they were in Chult, they had an experience that shed light upon her beloved's fate and she explained that she had hidden her identity but in truth was wanted for arrest in her home, Evermeet.   Preparing for an adventure to Evermeet Aronin went to a small shop and bought chalk, a mirror, 4 bottles, a vial of acid, and hempen rope. Later in the afternoon he met the other outsiders and Zartan and Zartan handed Aronin and Eldred each a scroll with black wax with the seal of the Hosttower within and a pink wax was seal on them. He explainded that they were a Writ that offered the two legitimacy in the Feywild. Zartan then opened a portal that could take The Outsiders as close as he can to a city in the Feywild as he could. Once upon the otherside Osa knew that it would be a three day journey to get to the city. Before he stepped though however, Aronin whispered in Draconic, "Fortune favors the bold."   The Feywild was as green as Aronin had ever seen and the sky as blue. The place was wonderful and beautiful and his night's sleep filled with wanderlust. They would make an approach upon Leuthilspar the next day across the "Green Isle" of Evermeet. Osa had then admitted to being a deserter who wandered and looked for her soul mate. Two riders approached The Outsiders from behind and Osa claimed Aronin and Eldred but Eldred then informed the patrol that he was returning Osa Durothil. Eldred then showed them his scroll and they had The Outsiders journey with them to camp in the evening. The next day the lot arrived at Leuthilspar to face a pure mithril gate door. Allowed in with a "prisoner" by the head of the gate guard, the circumstance befell them several more times as they passed several more sets of guards. Upon the higher living, The Outsiders encounter Jarbin, someone familiar with Osa, and he arrested her. Eldred had his scroll translated and Aroin took the opportunity to try and ply for position and told told Jarbin that he was aware of what was written in the scroll in Elvish and declared himself Osa's advocate. Aronin and Eldred were then taken to nice quarters with wonderful food where Eldred informed Aronin that Osa was in the Fey War and beloved had given her a silver necklace that proposed marriage. Eldred told aroning that her beloved had gone missing after a battle and Osa was given leave to try and find him for many years, it turned out to be twenty. The powers that be had finally told her that she had to report in but instead she left and ended up making contact with the later Heroes of the Hosttower. In Chult she had learned that her beloved was dead and in so doing had, in a round about way, come back home. After a night of stay The Outsider met again as they were taken to a courtroom in the afternoon. A judge over saw the proceedings and in a desperate attempt, Aronin attempted to advocate for Osa through a haze of sweat and hurtburn. It was a poor attempt but Eldred gave me Aronin a pat on the back for it all the same. In the end it came down to Osa's questioning and she entirely incriminated herself, as was the way of the Fey. The judge then stripped Osa of her family title and had her stricken from her family tree. A woman of Olithir then claimed Osa as a member of her house for the necklace Osa's husband had given her. The woman claimed to be Osa's beloved's Aunt as well as a member of the city's royal family. The request was granted and the woman, Bargala Olithir, took The Outsider's to her tower, which held within a massive library proving to Aronin that she was infact a master mage.
