The Doreal Observatory

The Largest astronomical building in The Waterfall Coast.
It lies in the mountain pass of Dor, the tower lies almost 4.5km above sea level and in an area so dry that very little atmospheric turbulence exist and it almost never rains.
It is a very guarded place as both a highly religious and holy place as well as a place with great military importance. Only the most respected scholars, clerics or officers can gain entrance and look upon the eyepiece and those who do are said to be changed forever.
The tower of Dor guards the only entrance to the Doreal Observatory and has seen so much conflict over the ages that it has evolved from a simple tower into a mighty fortress more deserving of the name castle.
