Luke Arbutus

Backstory The younger son of the King’s Advisor, Luke grew up in the Flying Kingdom. Life was good at home until Catra woke from her comma and the Princesses, who had been staying with Queenie and the boys for three years, went home. After that things changed, especially with his father. Luke was forced to train hard and his father expected perfect grades. At the same time though Jonathan took extra time to tell Luke elaborate bedtime stories each night. The stories were always different but had a common theme of Luke being the hero who rescued and married the princess. As he grew older the stories included snippets of the happily ever after. Luke became a proficient fighter and kept better than average grades. He went on to be knighted at his tourney.
Personality Luke is possessive and defensive of Sepherym. He is serious and full of pompous ideas about duty and honour. He scowls a lot. He is trustworthy and Sephy considers him one of her closest friends. He is slightly bigoted due to his father’s snobbish behaviours but over the course of the war learns more open-minded ways.
