*Element* Touched

The majority of Humans are Goddess Touched, the most basic and low-powered type of elemental ability. There are 7 elements on this planet: light (pink), darkness (navy blue), fire (reds and oranges), water (lighter blues), wind (green), earth (browns and yellows), energy (purple). The majority of people are born with a single element and are either Touched (the low-power version) or kissed (the high power version)

Effect

Every human has a Goddess Lock, a single lock of hair, generally above one temple, that is the colour of a specific element. To be "Touched" by The Great Lady means the person has limited control over that element, and it is generally tied to emotions. When someone Earth Touched gets very angry the ground may tremble where they walk. When a Water Touched is sad it may drizzle or there may be condensation on the windows.

Side/Secondary Effects

Because it is emotion-based it is hard to control, but fortunately the effects are generally mild. Knights are trained to harness their emotions to control this so odd things don't happen in battle. Other learn to control their emotions to produce certain useful effects more or less on demand.
