Personal history
Jack was experimented on since he was young to study his power, and is being trained to be a secret agent.
Toru mistakenly gets nabbed and placed in the same experiment lab as Jack, which is when the two first meet. Toru was about 6 and Jack was about 10. Jack comforts Toru, though he was given an ulterior motive of figuring out Toru's power without outright asking him as a test. Before anything can be done to Toru, Kieran comes to rescue him. However, Kieran was unable to do anything about Jack's situation without more information. Jack's parents said that he had a health problem and they kept him around the labs in the playroom so in case anything happened, they were there to help.
Jack and Toru meet again some years later when Toru is 12 and Jack is 16 at a party. Jack is there because he has been given a test to get in without an invitation, steal an item, and then slip out without no one noticing. Thanks to Toru, he was able to get in since Toru had no idea what Jack was there for. Thank to Toru, Jack was able to complete the test.
They keep in touch after that, though when Jack is able to be out and meet with him varies.
