In the days before the Caprans broke their masters and scattered to the eight winds, before the Varuli left the Grove of Niomani, before our kind first arrived in the City or its founding by the High Council, there were the Sublime Beasts. Monsters, one and all. Each one far stronger than any single Worthy.
The first to appear was the Trumpet of Frost. A creature that is a mountain unto itself. Upon its back cling a veritable horde of gibbering crimson-furred beasts who wield the souls and spirits of beings long dead and forgotten.
It first attacked the spires of the nation of Mar'Dahlan. It was reported by the survivors that just before it arrived,

Active Sublime Beasts
Although many of the sublime beasts were either imprisoned or slain by the High Council in the age before the City, due to their nature many have become reoccurring threats to the world at large.
Below are those who are currently known as active threats to the City as well as their current status:

• Trumpet of Frost
- Nearly 10 years since last attack. Current whereabouts unknown. Be on the lookout for any abnormal weather patterns or large, furred bipedal organisms.

• Stoneshakers
- Currently located on the Farandral Plains. Monitored by nearby Capran warherds. Must not be allowed to encounter the Kentor herds.

• Grootslang
- Currently in hibernation in the Ma'Karion Vaults.

• White Screecher
- Whereabouts unknown after the sacking of High Vorlun. Nest is rumored to be somewhere within the Emerald Ocean.
