See Calendar Here   The calendar of Zillarium is similar to the Gregorian calendar of Earth, as in it has 12 months in a year, 7 days in a week, etc. There are also 24 hours in a day.   The days of the week are as follows:

  The months of the year are as follows:

  2. Coldclaw
  3. Sunsetclaw

  8. Highsun
  9. Fading
  10. Leafall
  11. Darkfrost
  12. Drawdown
  The feastdays/holidays/etc. are as follows:   New Year's Day (1 Deepwinter)  
  • A celebration of the beginning of the year, but also a time of reflection on the year passed. It also marks the day the people of Zillarum came to this moon from their devastated homeworld of Azurra.
  The Festival of Warmth (14 Coldclaw)  
  • A day of particular worship, acknowledging the warmth of the sun that keeps the people warm in the face of cold winters. An auspicious day for marriages, declarations of love, and the giving of gifts, in addition to feasts of piping hot food served in front of roaring hearths.
  Winterhammer (28 Coldclaw)  
  • The winter gets worse as it fades, coming down like a hammer. This time of year is often hit with some of the worst snowstorms of the year for many people in the northern areas. This feast day reveres the enduring spirit of the people of Zillarum, with many participating in rites involving people going out in the cold with little clothing after drinking alcohol and then coming inside to warm up and fill their bellies.
Craftday (9 Sunsetclaw)  
  • An industrious day often accompanied by a fair or crafting competition in honour of craftwork.
  Goddess Festival (22 Sunsetclaw)  
  • This is one of the largest celebrations of the year. On the Vernal Equinox the people show reverence for growth, renewal, and appreciation for the life the Goddess brought to this once-barren land so that her people may have a new home. Many people perform plays or recite stories honoring the Wyrm Lords, those brave heroes that stood against Abyssos so long ago.
  Scholar's Rise (6 Stormclaw)  
  • Traditionally, the day on which schools of learning took new pupils, and thus associated with knowledge, writing, learning, and so on.
  Bloomingtide (12 Stormclaw)  
  • A celebration of blooming flowers often accompanied by a flower show.
  Hexnight (30 Stormclaw)  
  • A fun-filled night in which children dress up as ghosts and ghouls and trick adults into giving them sweets.
  Greengrass (1 Melting)  
  • Celebrating the full swing of spring, this holiday is usually accompanied by a pleasant festival in honour of the peace the Goddess's light brings to the world, keeping the darkness of Abyssos away and out of the hearts of most.
Trollrise (3 Flowertime)  
  • In a similar vein to Hexnight (though less serious), children dress as trolls, goblins, and other monsters to go about demanding trinkets of people. This stands to remind everyone that if they stay to the roads and not roam too far into the wilderness, the monsters should not be a bother.
Dawnday (21 Flowertime)  
  • The summer solstice. There are no particular festivals or rites, though many get up early to watch the sun rise with their friends and/or family.
  Whitefeast (11 Summertide)  
  • Traditionally, a day in which courts would sentence captured criminals, then others feast and pay respect to the laws and guards that keep them safe in places where the Dark God's influence is stronger.
  Revelmeet (30 Highsun)  
  • This day is in celebration of the fading summer. During good harvests, magnificent feasts are prepared.
  Moonmystery (14 Fading)  
  • As autumn draws on, people give regard to the magical nature of the world, blessings of the Goddess that bring good fortune and heal the sick and infirm. Further, those with the gift of magic are honored at festivals.
  Autumnstride (20 Fading)  
  • The autumnal equinox. A major harvest festival observing the beginning of harvest time.
  Highharvestide (30 Fading)  
  • A celebration of the end of harvest time. Particular praise given to the Goddess for their prosperity (or lamentations that they did not do enough to earn her favour).
  Keepsweet (16 Leafall)  
  • After the harvest, this celebration sees the readying of food for the winter through preserves and via trade.
Longluck (30 Leafall)  
  • With autumn in full swing and winter slowly approaching, this celebration appeals to the Goddess to provide good fortune in the coming year.
  Gravefeast (15 Darkfrost)  
  • As the year dies, people take the opportunity to remember fallen friends in a sombre feast of honour.
  Deadwinter Day (21 Drawdown)  
  • The winter solstice. Feasting, special rites and gatherings at temples for divinations and contemplation of the year ahead.
  Moonfeast (31 Drawdown)  
  • The final celebration of the year, renowned for the presentation of new songs and stories from across the year.
