Ziabatora

When the Soulhollow and his Torments destroyed the Runestone, the essence of magic escaped from Ziabatora. The Rune-Gates opened for the first time in a thousand years. All was lost.   The spirits of those long-dead streamed through a Rune-Gate and began to wander the Plains of Ash. The Crown Princess disappeared, and the Crown Guard turned traitor to the throne, instead swearing allegiance to the Soulhollow. Hundreds of Mages across Ziabatora lost their power and were forced into hiding to escape detection by Torments.   It has been three years. The Soulhollow rules over all Ziabatora.   Simply put, things are bleak.
