The religion was founded by a m-genome with sight abilities that was later haled as one of the gods. Despite everyone they ever worship as a deity being an m-genome, they forsake them and are the leading cause of why they have a hard time gaining equality. They are in denial of any of their deities being mutants.

You shall trust in god above all else.
You shall see justice is done according to god's will.
