A page hastily scrawls out the details of this alien creature with a crudely drawn depiction of it to the side. At the top of the paper, the name the creature calls themselves; Aavaik.
An ancient species that has invaded Zerth for many centuries, maybe as far back in time as the dinosaurs. The paper mentions crudely drawn cave paintings of this creature in South Work.
It's stated several times throughout that these are highly dangerous creatures, and that people should avoid them at all costs.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Four giant eyes that lie in narrow sockets. A small, almost non-existent nose rests below, but it's the wide mouth that takes all the attention. A crooked smile reveals curved fangs and a coarse tongue.
Small jagged ears sit on each side of its long, squared head, which itself is covered in tiny scales and has two large tentacles protruding from the sides.
Its low brawny body stands straight. Two broad warping arms dangle at its sides and end in tentacle-like hands with very long fingers, of which it has 6 in total. Its legs are muscular and are slightly bent, each ending in wide feet.
Its body is covered in armor-like scales and its shoulders are narrower than its pelvis, from which a forked tail sways back and forth.
