Personal history

Growing up in Floridge, Amai was poor, living in the lower ring of the city. Her father left her when she was a baby, before her brother was born, and after her brother was born her mother left her alone to raise him. The two grew up together extremely close. Yet, due to her lower class status, she and her brother grew up homeless and hungry, stealing to stay alive. One day her brother stole her a necklace as a birthday present. He was caught by an elven guard and killed in front of her. As a result she grew bitter and angry towards elves and joined the dwarf league as a spy, using her human status to allow entry into the elf alliance. However, once she discovered the dwarves equally nefarious purposes, she was forced to reevaluate her views. During her quest, she met with the Unseelie king who made her a deal; return with the sunstone or remain his prisoner. He takes her necklace as collateral to ensure she comes back. In the end she failed and was forced to remain in the Unseelie Court. Staying with the king she was treated as more of a guest than a prisoner, given due respect and care. Eventually, he was able to gain her trust and cement her place in the court, eventually becoming his Queen.

Morality & Philosophy

Believes in freedom above all else. Growing up in poverty she works towards ensuring people are given equal oppurtunities in all scenarios. She doesn't believe in punishment without trial, and broken judicial systems makes her blood boil.
