Factory Technician

Once upon a time you found yourself in living in a very large city, looking for work. You found it where most of the lower class do: a large, industrial factory. As an employee of this factory, you worked on an assembly line of some sort, bringing mechanical products to completion. Although you were doing what most would consider simple labor, you have gained quite a bit of industrial knowledge and know-how. Work with your DM to determine what kind of factory you worked in, where it was, and who some of the important figures there were.     Skill Proficiencies: Investigation, Perception   Tool Proficiencies: Alchemist's Supplies, Brewer's Supplies, Carpenter's Tools, Cobbler's Tools, Cook's Utensils, Glassblower's Tools, Jeweler's Tools, Leatherworker's Tools, Smith's Tools, Tinker's Tools, Weaver's Tools, Woodcarver's Tools, and Thieves' Tools (choose two)   Equipment: Two sets of artisan's tools, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp.     Feature: Industrialist   You have become extremely adept at using tools to create new products. Your proficiency bonus is doubled when you make a roll to use tool proficiencies that you gained from this background, and the time in which it would take you to complete a task with said tools is halved. In addition, you also are quite knowledgeable on the inner workings of industry. You have advantage on any roll made to recall information about a product, mechanism, industrial site, or anything else you and your DM agree on.   Suggested Characteristics   As a city-bound industrial worker, you are no stranger to the idea that you are part of something greater than yourself. You have learned to work well with others, despite what you may personally think of them. On the other side of that same coin, you may have been treated harshly by your superiors or fellow technicians while working in your factory. You are familiar with workplace drama, and you know how to ease your mind of it. Work with your DM to determine what your personality traits, bonds, and flaws are, and how they interact with your factorial background.
