Pepper is a 16-year-old senior in high school. Ever since she was little she has been fascinated with everything involving science, including anything sci-fi. She's pretty shy, especially around people she doesn't really know, and tends to be secretive about her home life.

She has an extremely high metabolism so she's always been a rather skinny and small person.

Almost every outfit Pepper wear consists of either an oversized flannel or cardigan over a thin t-shirt or some graphic tee with some geeky or nerdy saying on it. But she does also love her beloved collection of overalls. Always wears circular wire glasses and has a pencil behind her ear

Personal history

Pepper's family has moved around a lot because of her dad's job which has kept her from ever having a deep friendship with someone. The school that she currently goes to has been the school she's stayed at for the longest time. She has 2 older twin sisters who could not be any more different than her. While they were both fantasizing about cute boys while shopping online, Pepper would be found in the corner reading a sci-fi book or just a regular textbook. Her sisters have moved out and are going to college in Italy. She also has a 12-year-old brother, Cyrus, who seems to be showing personality traits similar to Pepper. Even though she does love her sisters, Pepper has made it her goal to be the best sister that she can to Cyrus and always shows him kindness
Her parents have usually been pretty happy, but more than a month ago, her dad lost his job and had to start looking for new ones. Meanwhile, her mom had to work more hours to be able to support the family. Pepper's dad started to lose hope in finding a good job and slowly started to turn to drinking in secret. Pepper was the first to find out about it and tried to consult her dad about it but caught him in a bad mood. That was the first night that her dad hit her, and it really caught her off guard. After that night it just kept getting worse and worse, and her mom was never home to see it.

Education

She skipped a year during her freshman year of high school and is now a senior. Ever since she was little, her parents have been teaching her magic and spells from books, just like they had learned. Her sisters were never really interested in learning that, but Pepper was ecstatic

Employment

She currently works at a magic shop nearby that is owned by one of her dad's good friends. She goes there even if she doesn't have to work to get away from home occasionally.

Mental Trauma

Pepper has always had issues with anxiety, but the issue with her dad made things even worse and caused the anxiety attacks to become much more frequent. Sometimes she has the occasional panic attack, but those are more rare and on really bad days
