Farming

With the existence of Beast-Folk animal husbandry and farming are very heavily scrutinized. The mistreatment of ones livestock may result in unforeseen side effects and accidents where there are no lords of that race but only the common Beast-Folk. Where Noble Beast-Folk live the crime could result in a punishment far more severe. This being the case many treat their livestock with more care than even some of the nicer farmers in our world, providing lavish living conditions or at least comparable to those they themselves live in.
