Isle of Night
The Isle of Night is a small island located north of Zaloria. The island is famous for its bioluminescent wildlife and plant life. From bioluminescent plankton to trees that glow when the sun goes down, the Isle of Night is a spectacular sight in the dark. Perhaps that is why the citizens of The Isle of Night sleep during the day and wake during the night.
Geography
The Isle of Night primarily consists of snowy mountains and icy lakes. Situated north of Zaloria, the island is naturally very cold, but it was also the dwelling place of Octavian, the God of Ice. Gods have a tendency to subconsciously affect the land and people around them, and these effects last long after they leave.
Beaches and pine forests are also in abundance around the Island. The beaches aren't exactly a vacation spot. For the most part, the ocean surrounding The Isle of Night is used for harvesting bioluminescent plankton and fish.
There are many settlements all across the Isle of Night. Most notably is the capital, Navaria, which is situated high in the mountains.

Fauna & Flora
The Isle of Night is renowned for its bioluminescent wildlife and plant life. From the plankton in the ocean, to the trees lining the streets, to the lizards scurrying through the trees, most animals and plants glow in the dark. In the case of the former, this is a natural phenomenon; but most animals and plants glow due to scientific testing.
Natural Resources
The Isle of Night has two major resource pools; metals and gems from within the mountains, and bioluminescence. Scientists have mastered the art of extracting the essence from plankton and octopi and both selling it and inserting it into other animals and plants. Bioluminescence is a big trade for The Isle of Night, as they are one of the very few islands that can produce such large amounts of the stuff.
A bigger trade than even Bioluminescence is mining. The Isle of Night is home to many mountains, and such mountains contain rare gems and metals that can be sold all across Kesmion. A large amount of the population work in the mines.
